At the University of Victoria, I lead the Environmental Governance Group, a community-engaged research group that works with global and local partners, including communities, policy makers, and companies. Check out our website: envirogov.org

About our research

Many of the greatest challenges facing humanity today are related to climate change, biodiversity loss, and sustainable food production. Our research directly tackles these challenges in that we study the political geography of natural resource governance with special interest in how global food systems impact people and ecosystems.

At the University of Victoria, we are grateful to work and live on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen peoples, specifically the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
